Punjabi Salad Recipe


  • 1 small red onion sliced
  • Half cup shredded lettuce of choice or season
  • 4 tomatoes sliced
  • 3 inches cucumber, peeled and sliced horizontally
  • 6 cayenne chillies sliced in half
  • White wine Vinegar
  • Ground black pepper
  • handful coriander leaves finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic finely chopped

Cooking method for Punjabi Salad

Serves 4

Wash and dry all vegetables. Lay the lettuce out as a bed and layer on the tomatoes, cucumber, onion and chillies. Sprinkle with a little vinegar and black pepper then the garlic and serve.
