Rashmi Kebab Recipe


  • 2 Tablespoon Tandoori powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Massala
  • 1 Teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 Teaspoon Chilli Powder
  • Juice 1 lemon
  • 8 cloves garlic - crushed
  • 1 inch grated ginger
  • Red food colouring
  • 2Lbs Lamb Mince
  • 1 Lemon
  • 4 eggs scrambled
  • Vegetable Oil

Cooking method for Rashmi Kebab

Serves 4

Fill a frying pan with 1 and a half centimeters of oil and bring to a medium high heat. Mix the spices, colouring, lemon juice, ginger and garlic up into a paste with a little water and stir in well with the Mince. Mould into burger shapes, dip 1 at a time into the egg and add to the frying pan. Reduce the heat and continue cooking on both sides until cooked through. Check the kebab is cooked before serving by cutting 1 open slightly with a wedge of lemon.
